I completely agree with you guys, I want to thank you all for your support. You have helped me all the way from my 2ww until now. It has been such a blessing to have people to talk to that are going through the same things, and share our joys, pain, and concerns.
This was my first IVF cycle and really don't know what I would have done without your support.
Now that we are all so close to having our babies is time to celebrate.
As for me, I'll be 30 weeks on Thursday. I had an appointment with the perinatologist this morning, she said that everything looks great. My placenta is anterior, my cervix is holding up, the baby is head down, HR was 146 and his weight is 3.5 lbs. The fibroids have not grow any more and they are not on the baby's way. My next appointment is next Friday, and I will see the OB every two weeks from now on. Hopefully she will be able to give a date for my C-section.
I have a nasty cold thanks to my DH, the OB said I could take Sudafed for the congestion, and gargle with salt and water for my sore throat.
I'm with wakejl and wanted to thank you all for your support and encouragement. It has been such a blessing to have people to talk to that are going through the same things. It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'so glad everyone is doing so well! A huge congratulations to Sisi on Mason's safe arrival and to journeytomotherhood!! That is such wonderful news:-)
Update on Gabriel and I: We found out at 36 weeks that the placenta had moved up completely out of the way, so we are good to go for a vaginal delivery. At the time he weighed 6lbs 2oz and had a full head of hair. I had an OB appt this morning (I'll be 38 weeks on Thursday) and found out I'd lost 2 lbs (which my OB said is a good sign because usually you lose some weight before going into labor..I had know idea about that), I'm having a mucus discharge and my cervix is dilated 1cm, so hopefully it won't be too much longer until I'm holding my precious little man.
I'm like a lot of you having BH contractions regularly, crampiness, lower back pain, and sleep has become a distant memory...I think it's Gabriel's way of preparing me to get up and feed him hourly...lol.
cuzimdmom: I'm with you completely...nervous, excited and tired and just so ready for him to be here!
Congrats to the new babies and their Mommies!!!
Yes, it's getting close for us all! I am experiencing constant Braxton Hicks and I know it won't be long until it's the real thing! Nervous and excited plus tired!!! I am 35 weeks and ready when he is:) Oh, how our lives are about to change!!!
Best Wishes to you all!!!
Ladies I have come down with a really bad cold. Couldn't sleep all last night. Im too scared to take any meds for it. Have been drinking ginger and honey. :( I hope everyone is doing well and keeping healthy. And yes thank God for this group as it has been a huge support especially after five rounds of IVF and one major surgery at the age of 26. I coulnt imagine going through all that with the love care and support of all u lovely ladies. Time is ticking and we are all approaching motherhood ever so fast. I'm 30 and a half weeks now. Take care all. Hugs and kisses xoxo
