E2 Levels during IVF

Hi Everyone,

I need some advice and / or reassurance....

I did IVF last fall and unfortunately it did not work.  I have been trying to do it again for the past few months and had been put on birth control pills a few times and each time we went to get a baseline there was a cyst ...so we had to stop. So, they decided the pills were not working for me so they put me on Lupron for three weeks...a dose of 10ml.

On friday, went for an ultrasound and bw and there were no cysts...but my E2 level was below 5!

They said that they might have over-supressed but we were able to start stims anyway...450 units of follistim and Lupron down to 5  

E2 level today was up to 43.  So, they said to keep the same dose and go back on wed.  I am really concerned with this and am not sure it will come up?  I had none of these issues last time around.

if they kept you on the same dose, they are not concerned.
you do have to worry about hyperstimulation as well so there is a fine balance.  
if your E2 has not continued to rise at a rate they like, they may up your doses on Wednesday.
but i think my first E2 was in that range and by the time i triggered i was well over 1000 with 8 eggs retrieved.

Thanks!  I am driving myself crazy with this.  I am not very optimistic about Wed.  We will just have to wait and see.  I am still a bit angry about them supressing me that much.  I asked them if they could have done bloodwork while I was taking the Lupron for 3 weeks to see if the level was getting too low....they said no?  For some reason I don't believe that....
