Ectopic pregnancy in Sept. and 5 months later have spotting in between periods

I had an ectopic pregnancy back in September 2010.  I had to have surgery to remove the pregnancy as well as my right fallopian tube.  I still have both ovaries and my left tube.  Since having the surgery, my periods have changed a bit and I was wondering if this is normal.  I used to get my periods every 29-32 days (alternating 29-30 one month and then 30-32 the next month) with no spotting in between my periods.  I would normally get cramps the first two days of my period with sore breasts almost every time a couple of days before my period.  I would have my heaviest flow the 1st two days with it lightening up and finishing by days 4 or 5.  Since my ectopic and surgery, I have gotten my period every 28-29 days with light spotting 2-3 days prior to the start of my period.  The cramping is the same, but the consistancy and flow of my period has changed a bit.  My heaviest flow is a bit heavier than it used to be and lasts anywhere from 2-3 days.  And up until this month, that is how it has been.  On my most recent period (starting Jan. 18th), my breasts were very sore.  They have continued to be sore, with less pain, ever since.  In addition, I have been seeing a small amount of blood when I wipe on at least 5 or 6 different occassions over the past 2 weeks.  I am not sure what is happening, but I am just a little concerned as I am used to very regular and normal periods.  Can anyone help?  Is it normal to see these changes after an ectopic/surgery?  Thank you in advance!
