Hi everyone. I have a question that im sure can get answered on here. I am looking to donate my eggs but I have been taking antidepressants for over a year. Will they want my eggs if they know about my depression? Thank you for any advice or input!
, etc testing, then the selection process goes to the receipient parent. I know we looked intensely at the donor's medical history. That was much more important to us than a picture.
I don't know if you'll be accepted w/an egg donor agency or fertility clinic while on anti-depressants. I don't think that it would affect your egg quality which is the important thing but would parents pick you if they see you have a history of depression is another. The only thing to do is consult these agencies/clinics & see what they have to say.
That's very sweet for you to want to donate your eggs - I did a donor cycle almost two years ago and am thankful to our donor everyday for our baby boy. - jen
