Egg white cervical fluid at cervix day after O

Any of you girls get Egg white cervical fluid at cervix day after O?  I was dry outside...unlike the days before...but I check my cervix daily and there was still a little egg white at my cervix and my chart says I already O'ed.

That's when it's supposed to be that way.  "During ovulation" mucous period lasts 2 -3 days, and so the day after you actually ovulate,  that's "during the ovulation period".  It's supposed to be a raw egg white consistency.  That helps the sperm navigate their way to the waiting egg.

I thought that the eggwhite mucus was usually before you ovulated? Am I wrong on that? I can't remember where I heard that, I am curious also. I thought the mucus was that EWCM then you ovulate and when the mucus is present you should be BDing. thanks for your help.

The egg white consistency mucous occurs DURING the fertile time.  So probably the day prior to ovulation,  and the two days following,  women note the presence of the clear mucous.  

Note in this link,  if you don't wish to get pregnant you should abstain for 4 days after ovulation.
