I researched about embies and what the grades are but, Is it the more cells the better or the less fragmentation?? I have a 10 cell for my 3 day transfer, with fragmentation is this okay?
Congratulations on your transfer. 8 celled is wonderful! it means that it developed and divided the way it supposed to. For day 3 they like to see 8 to 10 cells.
however it also depends on the percentage of fragmentation. in my lab they grade the embryos
from A to D;A being the best with little to no fragments, B is less than 25%, C is 25-50%, D is more than %50
Grade A and B are considered the best and the most likely to implant and result in a live birth however, even some women got pregnant with grade C and maybe D.
Every lab is different so you need to ask your lab or your RE.
I know that the 2ww are tough but do not stress about grading and these stuff. Some fragmentation is very normal even for naturally conceived embryos
I just had my transfer Monday .. so i have quite a wait ,,, No symptoms just i think from the progesterone im taking ,,, my beta is 5/16....I just hope it implanted...
