Embryo transfer and Cramping

Hello!! On July 17 i had 2- 3day embryos transfered. This is my first IVF cycle and unfamiliar with the the common symptoms. I am also on watch for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome as i had 23 mature eggs retrieved. I am now 9 days after transfer and i have been experiencing lower abdominal cramping. Almost feels like "digestive, gassy" cramping. I am not sure if this is a bad sign or just due to all the issues going on. The ovarian hyperstimulation, the estrogen 2 times a day or the progesterone 3 times a day. I cry at everything which really isn't helping anything right now. So can anyone tell me if this is all normal or should i be worried

I too had similar symptoms - mostly it was gas/bloating & cramping on days 2-3 of the tww.  I also had a 5 day transfer - I now think the above symptoms were more from the extra hormones than the pregnancy itself (I also got a BFP).  Have you taken a hpt?  On that note, I would advise not to unless you can handle a BFN.  If you really want to, wait until much closer to your beta - I wish you all of the best & SSBD, jen

Hi.  I know we're all different, but I also just went through my first IVF ;)  My transfer was on July 14, a single 5-day blast transfer. On the 17th, I started getting  cramps here & there & by the 19th I had pretty bad cramps, then nausea...  I just got my BFP on Friday and am waiting for my 2nd beta results today.  (SO nervous!)  Anyway, I just wanted to wish you my best & let you know you're not alone in your symptoms!  I also had major gas pain for a couple days, not something I've ever experienced...  I also had 21 eggs retrieved & was concerned that the progesterone and estrogen I'm taking is what was causing my symptoms ;)  Good luck!!!!
