(from an ivf cycle done in dec 2009) in Feb 2010. Had to cancel fet cycle in April 2010 due to thin endometrial lining. Am preparing for another fet in May. Please does anyone know what can be done to improve endometrial thickness? Secondly, has anyone conceived with endometrial thickness of 7mm in fet? I'll appreciate your response.
There are several things I have tried for this. You can try drinking Raspberry LEAF tea... not raspberry tea, but Rasperry LEAF Tea (found in organic section of grocery/health food stores) 3x's a day. Also, another thing I have tried is lying on the floor on my back with feet against the wall in the air for 20-30 minutes, belief being that blood curculation cannot get to your legs and bloodflow will sit in stomach/uterus area. **I only do both of these from day 1 of cycle until transfer date**. I did this on my last transfer cycle when I went in on thursday and he told me to come back on tuesday. on thursday my thickness was 5.9 went back on tuesday and it was 8.5. Hope these little tricks help you! (my transfer was unsuccessful, but my uterus looked good ( : )
Also, alot of RE's recommend acupunture. The acupunctorist I contacted, said that I need to call him 3 weeks before transfer and he will see me 2x's a week.
I too struggle with a thin lining also... Hope these things help : )
Good luck with your transfer in may. Well, be rootin' for you!
it's self is all about focusing blood to your ovaries and Uterus. It really does help. If your RE will right you a letter to your health savings plan saying he is suggesting Acupuncture
in my country: Honestly, I don't know where it's done there too. So I guess am going to try mhv's suggestion: I hope it works for me too. My lining this morning was triple lining 7mm on cd20. The RE said he would take a decision tomorrow concerning my fet. I pray everything goes on fine. I've read in various places that a lining of 6mm is ok but my RE wanted mine to get to at least 9mm (my 1st ivf cycle was 12mm).
