Estrace - no ovulation

I am new to this site- but desperate for some answers.  Quick history- have one daughter born almost 2 years ago.  Started trying to conceive again 8 months ago.  Had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in loss of one fallopian tube.  Had, I beleive, a chemical pregnancy the next cycle.  The past 6 months though- nothing.  Finally seeking help from fertility specialist.  The first u/s revealed a very thin lining.  Went back on CD 10 and it was measuring only 5 mm.  The were a lot of follicles though, the largest only 10 mm.  They put me on Estrace (suppositories 3 x per day).  Went back on CD 14 and lining was 8 mm (YEAH) but no follicles had appeared to grow past the 10mm.  It is now CD 21 and still no ovulation, I believe.  The weird thing is that I had a +OPK for 3 days in a row- CD's 14, 15, 16.  Nurse at clinic said she could not speak to the +OPK's, but what had probably happened was the Estrace stopped the follicles from maturing.  SO confused and frustrated.  Also, I had some blood tinged discharge from CD 18-20.  QUite sure though, based on temps, that I have not ovulated.  SOOOO- questions are- can anyone out there speak to the Estrace stopping the follicle growth issue, the blood tinged discharge issue, or the 3 days in a row of +OPK's???

Hi Isabel! Welcome to the forum! I came across your post on accident while searching for something else and noticed that you haven;t gotten any answers yet. I know it's been a couple of weeks, so you may have already spoken to your doctor by now...but I wouldn't think estrace would prevent the follicles from maturing, since estrogen is the dominant hormone in the follicular phase, whether or not you're taking a supplement. But I'm not sure about this...

What did your doctor say? And did you finally ovulate?
