Excited and Worried....

I am four weeks pregnant. Very excited.... But nervous too. We got our BFP at 9DPO.  I am 13DPO today and going to confirm the pg this Thurs.  I suffered two miscarriages in the last year. So, I am hoping this one works. I am nervous because I am really constipated. This morning my stool was so hard that my bottom bled a little. I started increasing fruit and veggies today. Should I be worried? My prenatal even says that it has a stool softner in it. So, I don't know why I have so much pressure in my rectum area. Has anyone else experienced this?

Congratulation!! drink alot of water to keep your stool soften.  I agree with tricia448, sometimes medicines can make you constipated.

good luck and enjoy your 9 months journey.

congrats on your pregnancy!!!!!!!well i am not a doctor but i would assume the constipation is from your diet...or are you on any other meds that have a constipation side effect. so thats good you are changing your diet. maybe ask the nurse at your doctors office for advice? good luck!
