FAM????

So I updated my ovulation tracker today with my temp and then popped up 3 lines --- an orange one that is OPK which showed up the day after i got a pos. opk and then two blue FAM lines...what is FAM??? one line is horizontal and one is vertical...please explain! i'm lost!  but on the upside my temp rose to 98.34!! which i hope is a good thing! :)

oh! and on others trackers i see a line labeled "self" some are differnet colors...?? please enlighten me! LOL!

Hi!  I'm clueless when it comes to the FAM one but when you see the "Self" it's when they put in their own ovulation date.  They detected ovulation themselves without opk's and such.  I THINK! lol. I'm just as lost as you are lol.  I use Opk's and when I get a positive I put it on my chart so it automatically shows OPK.  I hope someone helps you soon, so it'll help me as well. lol.    Good luck!! :D

I just sent you a message :-) I think the lines are different, because FAM (Fertility Awareness Method) is used to avoid pregnancy (instead of using birth control).
