FET

Ok we did a fresh IVF cycle 2004 and got twins from 3 embryos now then we just did a FET from the remaining 3 we had left and we got nothing.  The 1 didn't expand so RE said it was not a live embryo so we had 2 good looking embies to transfer and we put the 3rd one is for moral reasons.  Now the 2 live ones they said looked good and they seemed like they expected them to take.  The embryos were 1-5 day and 2-6 day and then their grades were 2-B & 1-C.  Are those not good embryos?  I just can't imagine why it didn't work for a t least one of them to take.  My lining was great all my numbers were great and NOTHING!
Thanks for any input.  I meet with my Re and don't knwo what quesiton sto ask next week.  Michelle

I have never done IVF, but I have heard of many women who's embryos didnt implant for ansolutly no good reason.  Anyway, I dont know what to tell you to ask your doctor, I just wanted to tell you good luck.....  It will happen.

I am in a similar boat!  The fresh cycle, they transferred 2 embryos, they both took, but 1 miscarried at 6 weeks.  We have a beautiful baby girl (8 months old).  We transferred 3 frozen, the RE said they looked wonderful.  And nada.  Not pregnant?!?!  I am at a loss!  I figured at LEAST one would take.  I got nothing.  No answer for you, other than it sucks, but hey, I have a baby and you have babies, so Praise God!

I did IVF two years ago with success.   Had no extra embryos to freeze.  We decided to go through the procedure again and got 11 eggs all fertizlized to 8 cells and we implanted three and froze the rest.  We got pregnant and carried all the way to term at at 37 weeks the baby died and I had to deliver her.  Most devasting experience to get to the end and lose the baby.  We still have our frozen embryos and are going to try again. Does anyone know how long you have to wait and what the FET procedure is?  My doctor says I just need to wait to get my cycle and we can try again.  What is the difference between the natural cycle and medication cycle for FET?  Any comments would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I did my fet on 3/23 and got a bfp. My hcg level was 163 13 days after my transfer. I went today 5 weeks 3 days pregnant and they did not see anything on the sonogram. I also lost all my pregnancy symptoms. Has this ever happened to anyone ??
