FSH 9.8 last week but 16 this week. No menstruation in months...

Why would my FSH almost double from 9.8 to 16 in one week if I am not menstruating. LH w/second test = 10 (was not drawn with first). Any ideas?

I know the FSH to LH ratio should be close to 1:1 and it is not, so what does the 16:10 ratio mean here?

My dr saus it fluctates hour to hour, but that's a pretty big jump. What, if anything, did your dr say?

One other thing, it's supposed to be done on day 2 or 3 or your cycle so doing it at different times may give a reading that isn't accurate...
