Failed Vasectomy-What are the options?

My partner had a vasectomy reversal operation last year, 7 years after his vasectomy. When his sperm count was tested afterwards it said that the sperm were dead. Could this just sort out on its own or will he have to have further procedures in order for it to work? He now seems to have given up hope of anything working but I know that's just because he feels like he's failed.

I am so sorry. He didn't fail at all. It isn't his fault by any means. I don't have any answers unfortunately. I think a visit to the urologist would be a good idea. Also, try posting on the drs forum. They are a great help. Good luck and keep us posted.
