False positive

I had an IUI 11 days ago, with a trigger shot of HCG.  I have not felt the onset of AF and I had a fever 7 and 8dpo, plus I have had creamy discharge.  Usually I spot 5 -6 days before AF, nothing. Not a drop.  I took a First Response Digital test yesterday and it was Positive.  I called the doctor and he said that the trigger shot could still be in my system.  But yesterday was 10dpo!  This morning. I took a First Response and saw a really faint line.  Then I took a digital again and it said NO!  Any commments or advice?  I still have no spotting.

I also had the hcg trigger shot with iui this month. I got a faint + on an answer HPT at 9dpo, but I thought it was still from the shot, so I ignored it. ( I also had spotting on 7 dpo which I never have!) Then on 13 dpo, I took a cheap dolllar store test in the afternoon, and it was positive! I had my beta, and just got my results yesterday at 14 dpo and it's confirmed, we are pregnant!! :) I also have a very close friend on here, and she also just found out she was pregnant and she took a first response on 10 dpo, and it was faint +. So she went and bought the clear blue "pregnant" or "Not pregnant" tests, and also the "yes" or "no" tests. Her clear blue said pregnant, and the other test said NO. The Yes or NO tests are less sensitive, so they don't pick up as early. I would definately say you are pregnant! :) When I called my RE about my first + test, they said at the latest the hcg is out of your system after 14 days of taking it. But it was always out of my system 10 days after taking it, but everyone metabolizes it differently. I hope it's a true + for you! Try to take another test tomorrow  morning with fmu, and hopefully your + will be getting darker! Good luck! :)

I had my ist IUI on april 4th.Today i am 13dpiui and 14dpo.i am going for my blood test today..didnt had the guts to test at home..afraid of seeing negative..pray for me

Pearl1980- Thank you! :) Good luck with your beta today!!  I know how  hard it is to see a negative, I've been seeing them for a year straight until now! And I didn't have any clue I was pregnant, and still don't even feel pregnant! It always happens when you least expect it! :) I'll be looking for great news from you and tlynn416 very soon! :)

Thank you for the support.  Since we are talking about the iui's, can you tell me what your sperm count was with the iui that proved positive?  Do you know the motility?  Our problems are because my husband had a vas reversal.  I just can't take the waiting, but I didn't know if a light, barely visible line this morning is just what I wanted to see.  I will do it again in the morning.  Good luck on your blood test. I will say a prayer.

Well, we only abstained for 24 hours, so dh's count was 25 million. But we had bd'd everyday before we started abstaining for like a week straight! Those strong swimmers can live in you for up to 5 days, so we just did everything possible this time! Plus, we did an hsg test on CD 5, which I really think is what did it for us! I ovulated very soon after, on CD 14, so it was perfect timing! Thank you for the well wishes for my beta today! I just hope to see those numbers rise and rise! I'll let you know! :) Hopefully we'll know today, but at the latest we'll know tomorrow morning! :) Thank you for your prayers! That means a lot!! Good luck with your test in the morning! I really hope to see your BFP! :)

I think it looks good - but you should test tomorrow just to make sure!!

I did an IUI last friday, so I am 7 DPIUI and 8 days past trigger ... and my test was very faintly positive this morning so it looks like it is almost out of my system!!

But what about the negative this morning on the digital test?  I'm just going crazy waiting!

the digital test isn't as sensitive as the other ones.  i think they read 30 un or something like that...but frer reads 20 or 25.  wait and test tomorrow and i would test again the next day.  on my last iui i tested at 10dpo and it was positive and 2 days later it was positive.
