Femara, Endometriosis, and fertility

Hi,

I am 37 yrs old and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past 3 years.  The first year we tried naturally with no success.

I've been through 6 months of Clomid and 2 of them were IUI's with no success.  After, seeing a Reproductive Doctor.  There was some indication that I might have endometriosis, so I was on 2 months of Lupron before starting the IVF process.  My first IVF resulted in an Ectopic pregnancy.  My next IVF, failed as well.

Last week, I had Laparoscopy surgery for my endometriosis (which resulted in stage 1).  My doctor is prescribing Letrozole, everyday for 2 months, to clean up any endometriosis that may have been missed during surgery.  After the 2 months, I would take 1 Letrozole for 5 days to promote ovulation.

Any suggestions?  Right path?  Or is the only option I have is another IVF?

Thank you...

I hope1125,  When I started seeing my fertility doctor the first thig we tried was 3 cycles of iui's with clomid and HCG injections and one cycle with progestrone which were all unsuccessful.  He then suggested a laparoscopy.  At the same time of the laparoscopy, surgery was performed to remove a slight case of endometriosis and adhesions from both tubes.  I had no clue I had either.  My doctor told me that I was as good as new and he seen me getting pregnant within the next 6 months......5 months later I found out I was pregnant and I am now 22.5 weeks and everything looks great....If you have any questions please ask...Good luck
