I just had my lap done. I am on CD 5. Whenever AF arrives again, I will be on Femara 2.5mg, 2 per day, for CD 3-7. What's your plan? I have my post-surgery appt. with my RE tmw. to talk over everything.
Thanks, i am glad to here that. We have no male factor infertility...it is all me!! My dr. told me that about the CM so that is good. I am just hoping that this works and I have less side effects than with the Clomid. I hated that stuff but it did get me on beautiful daughter. After a few miscarriages that is pretty good. So here to Femara and no miscarriages!!
Hello! yes a lot of us have used it on here, and its worked! i never used clomid though - they did my lap and i was covered in endo : ( ... so femara is particularly good for endo patients.. i produced one or two follicles each time (but i was on the low dose - 2.5mg once a day, and i only have one working ovary) the good thing is that if you dont' have any male factor infertility, then its better than clomid for the fact that it doens't affect CM (doesn't dry it out like clomid can) and it doesn't thin the lining like clomid can either! so it might not produce as many follies for some people, but the other side effects are good.. i never had anything but maybe one or two small hot flashes.. TOTALLY tolerable!!! we have gotten pregnant three times using a combination of femara + injectables.. GOOD LUCK! : )
