So my insurance doesn't cover ANY fertility. Was wondering if anyone out there bought special insurance or used loans and if so what company? Im looking into either if clomid doesn't work for me as I am on my 3rd cycle. Thanks.
I didn't use it, but my fertility clinic offers loans through different banks in my area. Check with their financial advisor if you are going to a clinic.
coverage, but only group plans (very few at that) offer such coverage, no individual plans ever do. What I mean is that if you want to buy a policy on your own (not through your work), infertility
yes, that is what I was asking. Guess I need to move to start where if you employee more than 25 people your insurace has to have it, like Illinois. LOL, almost be worth it for the price of infertility
I would also suggest talking to the finance coordinator at your fertility clinic. When we met with ours, she of course offered up options with companies that required paying interest on the loan amount. We didn't want to do that. She then offered our paying half up front and the rest over the course of the next 6 months. No interest. No filing with other companies. Worked out perfectly for us and was the easiest way to go without having to pay anything extra since our insurance covers nada. Might be worth checking into. Worst they can say is no.
and IVF - I work for Howard Hughes Medical Inst. - they have labs all over the country and hire scientists, office, computer people, etc. My IVF is virtually free except for copays. I had to be preapproved by showing 1y of infertility
Hi there,
I read your post and I know that in South Florida, IVF of Florida Reproductive Associates have a program called Step Ahead where they will give you up to 50% of the cost of IVF. I hope that was helpful if your in Florida. Good Luck!!
