Fet cycle

Hello,

In a few weeks I'm going to start my Fet cycle.  I've only done fresh cycles, so this is my first frozen one.  I was wondering what medicines did everyone take.  My doctor wants me to only take progestrone, estrace, doxicycline and medrol during this cycle. I asked her about baby asprine and she told me no because it tines out the blood. Does this seem right?  What has everyone else taken that have done an FET cycle.

Anyone's suggestions, opinions and information will be great.  I just don't want to go thru the wrong protacol.

Hi. I'm going through a FET right now. My transfer is for this wednesday.We didn't do a fresh one cause i was OHSS. Anyway i'm taking progesterone, estrace, baby aspirin, vitamins. But every protocol is different from person to person.

I was set for FET this march. Doctor told me to take the same same medicines  for progestrone, estrace, doxicycline and medrol. I was ready for the transfer..but unfortunately none of the 4 embryos  survived the thaw.

Maria2707 I'm am so sorry they didn't survive the thaw.  Are you doing any cycles noow?

It was so hard...I was all prepared and there was call from the nurse saying one didn't make it and next day more bad news..

Now I am on fresh IVF cycle. will be starting Lupron soon. Good luck to you!!!

I had that happen to me on one of the cycles.  The day of my transfer the nurse called me up saying I only had 1 embryo and it had a lot of fragmentations.  They transfered it, but only gave it about 8%.  All the other embryos did not make it.  I couln't stop crying when I got that call.  I really hope this cycle works for you and you get that BFP this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

those were same meds my doc prescribed
BUT I had a doc in 2004 who prescribed medrol and I miscarried SO I did not  take the medrol this time (I am preggo with twins)

I did take a aspirine a few times during the thickening stage NOT after the final ultrasound where they measure the lining

Mysty2001 is it safe to not take the medrol?  What is the medrol actually for and what does it actually do for you after retrival?
