First Beta

Well I had my first beta today (8dp5dt, or 13dpo).  It was 70! I thought it is a good number.  But since I did IVF and had mild-moderate hyperstim, my doctor put me on an HCG booster every 3 days to make sure enough is getting to the baby. I had never heard of it before and I got a little nervous.  But he explained it is just to help support the pregnancy, so now I feel better about it!! So for now I am excited, and can't wait until 7 weeks to have my ultrasound!! I will have weekly bloodwork until then, this doctor doesn't do every 2 day hcg's, and they would be messed up because of the booster anyway. . .

OMG! I'm soooo happy for you! CONGRATULATIONS! I agree, that's a great number for being only 8 dpt!
