First round of clomid and 5 days late Neg. pg test :-(

Hey! :-)  This is my first time posting...BUT what a GREAT community!  Anyway, I am really confused.  This is my first round of clomid on 100mg.  I was suppose to start my period on Monday...WELL..it is Friday and still nothing!  I took a pg test this morning and it was negative... :-(  Just wondering if you can be THIS late when taking clomid??? We have been ttc for three months.  I have used clomid about 4 years ago and was NEVER late...in fact got pregnant!  So, this seems so strange to me...  I would love to hear someone who had a pg test negative and was still pregnant...or does that even happen???...when on clomid?  OK...you ladies have a great day...and lots of BABY DUST to all of you!!!

Well I was on Clomid 150mg. 3cd-7cd. My cycles were sometimes regular and sometimes irregular. I do have PCOs also. But I know with Clomid sometimes I ovulate late, and as you may have heard that Clomid sometimes give us false positive OPK. Did your doc do bloodwork or an U/S? Well I got preg on Clomid this year, HPT never picked it up. I did a bloodtest where my HCG levels were so low! I believe everyoneis different. But I know Clomid can make you ovulate late, and it may cause you AF to be either shorter,lighter,heavier, and longer. SSBD
