General clomid info?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a specific time of day that I should be taking my clomid?  Is one time better than another? I was also wondering how may of you used clomid or know someone that used it and it worked.  I am getting so tired of starting my period month after month.  I just need a little good news about this whole thing.

I had a friend that took clomid, and it took her bout a year to get pg.I am going to start taking it myself on the 17 of this month. Can u tell me more bout it? How long have u been taking it also?I  just gor my iud taking out I am upset that I not pg yet. It wasnt this hard for me with my other kids.

I took clomid 3 cycles and got pregnant ......I don't think it matters when in the day you take it but I think it's better to take it the same time everyday so your body forms a pattern.

So u got pregnant when you took Clomid 3rd cycle 150 mg? Were you usign something else as well with clomid? How many days did you ovulate? How many kids are you pregnant with? 1 , 2, 3?

This is my first month. I just took my first dosage today.  I also have a friend that has been trying for over a year now.  She has 2 boys and had no problems with them but she did 2 cycles of clomid with no results.  She has kinda given up for now b/c of ins. problems.  From the reasearch I have done, if you have no other fertility issues then statistics say that you should have results within the first 3 cycles. Someone else on here said that they took clomid and ?femara? in conjunction and got a +pg test.  One other person said she took NAC as well but I am still doing more research on that. What dosage are you starting on?

My RE does not want his patients on more than 3 months of Clomid.  It can start to thin your lining.  This past month was my fourth and final month on Clomid.  We are moving on to injectables.
I took Clomid at night...it seemed to help with the side effects.

Tell me, did you ovulate while on Clomid? What was the reason why u didn't get pregnant while on clomid? how much did you take? ( 100, 150 mg)?

i'll be taking my last dose of clomid 50mg tomorrow.i heard somebody in the forum say that Robitussin is good 5 days to OV.i'll also start that tomorrow

Robitussin is what? DO you know if you ovulate yet ? I believe you suppose to OV on CD 12..Is Robitussin prescribed by RE? Cuz I used my last pills for Estradiol today, and I feel very fatigue for some reason..don't know if I OV yet, will check tomorrow morning.

I ovulated before taking Clomid.  I was put on Clomid for four months to help raise progesterone and produce a "better" egg.  Clomid is not a guarantee to get pregnant.
FYI--Robitussin is over the counter.

Oh, thank you. Well, I dont know if I should get Robitussin since I am already on Clomid and Estradiol...I will check tomorrow if I will ovulate..I hope I am because if not , then I will have to do the round 2 of clomid next month..Did you get pregnant after using clomid though?

I was on clomid last month 50 mg.   I did ovulate and my progesterone was excellent.  I produced 3 follicles 17.5, 20.5, and 26...unfortunately I didn't get preg.  I'm not sure why.  I am starting another cycle tonight (day 3).  I guess I will see how it goes. My RE put me on it b/c I wasn't o'ing so I guess it did it's job.  I'm hoping this will be my month...good luck to you!

How dd you know how may fllicles you produced last month? I am only ordered to do the blood work but I don't think it will tell my doc...I wasn't told to do a sonogram..
this month, did your RE put you on clomid 100 mg? or same 50 mg? anything else that you use wth clomid? I am using Estradiol..

He put me back on the clomid 50mg.  He said their was no need to switch it b/c I did ovulate last month.  He seemed happy with my follicles.  

I love my RE's office.  Here's what happens every month.  I go in the day I am going to start the clomid.  Last month it was day 5 this month day 3 (today).  They take my blood.  Then they tell me to come in a week later to check my prog ( I think) and I get a sono (day 10) then I come in everyday to monitor my follicles.  They grow each day.  They also take my blood everyday.  Last month on day 14 they gave me the ovidrel (trigger shot) to make sure I o.  Then they tell you to bd the next 3 days.  Then you come in for a prog. test a week after you take the ovidrel.  My prog. was great so I didn't have to take any.  Then a week later you come in for a BETA.  A lot of work but I don't think I would take the clomid if they weren't monitoring me.

ok so i read everything that has been said on this post. im suppose to start Clomid this month but my dr. told me to just come back in on Dec. 17 for a pg test. i feel like im being cheated because im not getting all the same treatment u guys are getting while on Clomid. what to do what to do... lol when i will keep all posted on how it goes fro me..SSBD

so how do you know if you O while on clomid? I took OPK and I got one faint line and one good one which means negative on CD 11, and I took another OPT today, CD 13, and the first line is a little better than on CD 11, but still not ery good one...so I don't know what that means...do I O or not?
I only will know on day 23 when I go take my blood test...im confused...

You may O late on Clomid.  Keep testing.
And NO, I did not get a BFP from Clomid that is why I am moving on to injectables.
The Robitussin will just help with your cm.

What kind of robitussin is recommended and when should you take it? And what did you say that it helps?
