General question, LPD, etc

I'm just exploring possible problems that may be causing my dh andI to not conceive in a timely manner. Impatience may be the first reason, but it took 9 months to conceive the little girl we lost. The first cycle trying again just ended, and it was the first one I've temp'd and charted. My cycle was 29 days, and LP was 9 days. If it has been this way all along, I would think we couldn't have conceived at all. Does that sound right?
I would appreciate any info from anyone with knowledge of LPD, etc. Also-does anyone know if it's likely that my obgyn would start me on anything, or would I need to wait the full year again and see an RE? My insurance has absolutely NO infertility coverage.
Thanks so much!!!! SSBD to all inneed!!!

That's a really good point-I didn't think of the year wait being an insurance thing, I thought more of a medical thing... Thanks for your advice, I will make an appointment with my obgyn.

If your insurance doesn't cover infertility, it shouldn't matter when you want to see an RE.  People with coverage often have to wait a full year so they are labeled as having "fertility problems" before the coverage will kick in.  I think your concerns are reasonable, and your OB/GYN should be willing to send you

Good luck
