Getting pregnant with fibriods

Please is there anyone here or known that got pregnant with two large fibriods of atleast 132mm x 126mm intramural; and 54mm x 44mm subserous. i really want to know if anyone has been able to give birth with this size of fibriod on conception cos my gyn told me the only way out is to remove the fibriods first. ( i have not tried to get pregnant cos am scared it may lead to miscarriage and am 31)

It's three weeks today from the date i went for the surgery. it went better than i expected and was already walking the next day without pain (i was amazingly on paracetamol as the pain reliever)! Am so glad i took it out cos it was really big (within the uterus wall produding outwards) with few small ones (on the uterus). Thanks Azwoman and Babywanted556 for your comments. The scar is already almost invisible now.

I am horrible with measurements but your fibroids appear fairly large. I have one the sze of a walnut and a smaller one. Neither my RE or gyn think they need to come out. I would honestly say that you should get yours removed as they may cause fertility probs or miscarriage. Make sure your surgeon uses an anti scar treatment after removal,,,there is a special product they can put in the areas the fibroids were. Scar tissue can also cause problems but I would really talk to your dr. And you will have to wait atleast three months, maybe longer, before you try conceiving. Good luck.

I have about 10 fibroids with the 3 of them size from 5-6cm and the rest is from 1-4 cm.  However, only 1 toss a little bit into the uterus, others are on the wall of the uterus.
My OB wants to remove the fibroids but not my RE because of the location and my age.  I'm 41 now and they are on the wall of uterus and I have not have any baby yet, so I could not wait for the surgery.

My 3 big ones increase to 10-11cm when i was 29 weeks ultrasound, and I don't know that they got bigger or not because of no more ultrasound.  However, my belly is really hard and I don't ever feel my son foot or anything....just fibroids every time he moves.  He was born at 37.5 weeks natural, and healthy.  Right after birth, the nurse thought about the second baby ....LOL, it's fibriods.  He'll be 1 year old this weekend.
Try to get second/third opinion.
