Giving yourself HCG shot

Does anyone know if the HCG shot hurts?  I have to give it to myself IM and I'm stressing over it.  I've done the stimulating meds in my stomach and they weren't bad.  Is there anything i can do to lessen the pain?

depends how to define HURTS. :-) I have HCG trigger shot.  It's sting when the medicine in your body.

It was fine, no worse then any of the other injections, just do it fast.

i gave it to myself last month, and it didn't hurt.  of course, i'm not sure i did it right, but there really wasn't any pain.

I numb the area with an icepack and that really cuts back on the pain.  I'm doing intramuscular progeterone in same place and the icepack is my savior. Good luck.
