Going to RE tomorrow...

Last month I was monitored while taking injections up untill the point I was told to do a tirigger shot.  They told me to come back in 16 days if I didn't get AF, well I got AF very early.
Anyways, I've been hearing all of you talk about the beta tests and projesteron levels and HCG levels.  I was thinking of asking my RE to monitor me after the trigger as well, so I can be sure that I O-ed.  I'm planning to continue with timed intercourse again unless I convince my DH otherwise (IUI).

Please let me know what test I should be asking for.

If you have mature follicle (confirmed by u/s) and HCG trigger shot.. I think the chance of you not ovulating is the very slim.  

I only got the hcg and progesterone test if AF didn't come by 16dpiui.  Early on during the evaluation phase (before taking any meds), I did get progesterone test around cd21 or so to see if I had ovulated on my own.  Once I started the hcg trigger shot, I never got tested again unless AF did show up.
