Gonal-f and IUI at 44

Hi Ladies,
   Got my BFN again today. I'm going to start Gonal-F and IUI. Anyone use this protocol?  I did Ivf in May with gonal f and made 18 follicles, but now I've had a TR so now I can use the IUI too. Any one get BFP this way?

Hi Mel honey sorry to hear that,i did gonal-f and an IUI in june but unfortunately it didnt work for me.but i had to give myself the injection and keep thinking that i didnt do it properly,well thats my excuse as to why it failed.hope you get a result with it keep me posted Bev xx

When you say it didn't work for you, did you mean you didn't get PG or that you didn't make any eggs?

Hi K,
   150iu of the Gonal-f. With my IVF they gave me 450iu a day. I made 18 follies in May with that cycle.

Do you mind to tell me what is your infertinity issue?  I have serve male factor and my son will turn 5 months old this Xmas on the 5th IVF.  Now I want to try for #2.  I know I need to do IVF again, however, my insurance is not cover it but IUI at 100% coverage.  I'm 40, and want to try IUIs again, even I have 6 failed IUIs before.

Hi, I had a my tubes tied 15 years ago and in September I had a Tubal Reversal. We tried natural for the first two tries but I'm 44 and don't want to waste any time. Good luck to you!
