Got a +HPT after a week of finishing clomid

Is this possible because i am getting excited and at the same time getting nervous.  I started taking clomid sept 10-14 for 5 days.  Exactly 1 week after the last clomid pill, i took a HPT and it was positive.  I went and bought 4 different HPT from different brands and they all came back positive.  I called my doc to tell him and he said that cannot be true.  he sent me for a blood work and it was confirmed that i was indeed pregnant.  My question is
1.  Is this possible to be pregnant after 1 week of finishing 50mg clomid?
2. Do you think i was already pregnant before i even started the clomid? (My doc did a blood test before he gave me the clomid to make sure i was not pregnant)

I am thinking that i was already preg before the clomid and blood test just did not pick it up

First, congratulations!!

I think you were definitely pg before you took Clomid. I don't think there was enough time to O, implant, and have a luteal phase all in one week.

You're not supposed to take Clomid when pg. Is your doctor addressing that? I hope and pray all will be well.
