HAS IUI WORKED ON THE FIRST TRY?

hAS ANYONE HAD IUI WORK ON THE FIRST TRY? I HAD IUI DONE ON 11-24-2010 AND DID NOT HAVE CLOMID AS I OVULATE JUST FINE. I HAD 8.2 MILLION INJECTED. ARE MY CHANCES GOOD? WE DID GENDER DETERMINATION SO THEY REMOVED OVER HALF HIS COUNT WAS 28.3 MILLION. I ALREADY BELIEVE IT WORKED BUT ABVIOUSLY I DONT KNOW FOR SURE. I AM REALLY EXCITED AND TRYING NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT TO MUCH. I DON'T WANT TO STRESS AND HAVE IT NOT WORK. I JUST WANTED TO HEAR IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD IT WORK ON THE FIRST TRY AND WHEN SHOULD I TEST? CAN I DO IT BEFORE 10 DAYS?

My 1st IUI was successful. I only had one follie that was large enough, we did IUI 2 days in a row and it was a success. I was on 100mg of clomid and I did the trigger shot. I tested at 9dp IUI and got my very faint positive. I tested every day after to see the line get darker.

Thank you for your reply. I just got it tonight and it is so cool because I am 9 dpo and found out today i am pregers hcg level is 16.5 which is good average is 10-12.5. My test also was a faint possitive I could barely see the line and this was my first iui.

Congrats to you!!! I didn't get my beta til 13 dp IUI so mine was already at 99. Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy :)
