I got a very very faint positive this morning. Looks like their rising! Trying not to get too excited. I'll know for sure on Monday. Still getting cramps, which seems odd to me. Prayers and positivity.
Thank you. That's a great chart!!!
As you can see from time line below, You shouldn't be able to detect it on a hpt for 2 more days....
5-DAY TRANSFER:
-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT
I could never get up the nerve to do a hpt. Way too chicken. The test your using probably can't pick up the small amount of hcg in your system. Give it a day or too.
Did you do a HPT? Ive done a couple and they come out negative
My first test wasn't until 11dp5dt. Your doc tested early!! Good news? 5 is pregnant!! And so early :). Hang in there! Hoping for wonderful news on your next blood draw! And yes, as the embryo(s) give off more HCG, your #'s will increase more and more. Good luck!!! Sending baby dust your way!!!!
Thank you and yes it was earlier to test. I just hope the numbers grow by Monday. Monday will be day 11 after the trasfer. Trying to stay positive. Just found out the Dr is looking for my numbers to be at least 100 on Monday, is that possible?
I think you tested awfully early. My doc will not do a blood test until day 15 after creation of the embryo, or in your case that would be day 10 after transfer.
5 is an iffy number. Some REs call anything over 5 it positive, and some call it negative until it reaches 7 or 10, but since your blood test was so early I would def agree with the way your doc is handling it; i.e., that you should test again in a few days.
