HCG Level Advice PLEASE

Okay first a little history. I had a miscarriage in may @ 9 weeks and Had an ectopic removed on August 17th. Both pregnancies I used clomid. I started seeing an RE when I had my ectopic. He has been doing testing on me and my husband. However 3 weeks after the ectopic I Oed by myself! So my boobs have been really sore all last week, so I took a test yesterday and got a BFP!!! BUT I went to the RE today for blood work and my HCG was only at 16. Nurse said she was surprised it even showed up on HPT. They ordered blood work in a week. I haven't missed my period yet it is due this weekend. Is this level okay to have anyone else have a similar situation. I can't take the wait game!

It AF isn't late yet, then I would expect hcg to be low... it has to start somewhere..

Best of luck and congrats on your bfp!!

I had a blood test on day 25 of my cycle (15 dpo) and got an hcg score of 27.  Three days later, it was 63.  My RE is concerned the scores are low, although I just posted a question about these numbers over on the doctor to patient fertility forum, and the RE there thinks my numbers sound normal.  The forum RE noted that they don't know much about hcg doubling before one's period is even due.  Both you and I have the benefit of knowing we're pregnant early, but also the stress of it being too early to tell if the numbers are okay.  In my last pregnancy, I didn't even do a hpt test until my period was four days late, so by the time I got a blood test, the numbers were nice and high.  I think waiting to test is much less stressful, but so hard to do!  Anyway, I think you should hope for the best, take really good care yourself, and see what your numbers do after a week.  I hope it goes well for you!
