HCG Neg

My HCG was neg but I still have not started AF. The nurse said that if I don't start by tomorrow they are going to put me on Provera and then another round of Femara. I really don't think personally that I am responding to the Ovidrel. Even with the Ovidrel my progesterone test indicated that I did not ovulate. I was wondering if there was anything else out there like Ovidrel that might work better?

Thanks

I am going to be seeing my DR on Friday the 29th. Hubby and I want to talk to him. I still have not started AF so I don't know what is going on. I am just really confused right now. My temps have showed no sign of ovulation. I go from 98.1 to 97.7 to 97.3 to 97.5 so I don't know what to think. Last week I was at 97.7 4 out of five days. I have no taken my temp at all this week which I am slacking in that area.

I am so sorry to hear that your HCG was negative.  Like the others, I thought the trigger shot was a guarantee that you'd ovulate, but I don't know too much about it.  Have you been doing BBT at all to see if your temps went up after the trigger?  That might help to give you more insight.  If they think you didn't O, I agree with your DH and would probably try to meet with the Dr (and have a list of questions written down) so that you can talk it all out.  Good luck.

He would not have let me do the trigger unless my follis were 20mm or more. When we did the trigger he said I had a min of two that were ready he said that there could have been more. I had so many follis they could not measure them all. The nurse is suppose to call me at 1 again to see if I started my cycle but I have nothing as of yet. My DH wants me to set up an appointment so that we can go talk to the DR face to face.

I always thought that they give u the trigger when the follicles are ripe (18mm or above)...at this time it would wud rupture and release an egg with the natural LH surge or a trigger shot...maybe u need extra dosage of the shot....
what size was ur folli when they gave u the trigger?

I am wondering the same about my trigger.  I need to ask my dr. this week.  How can you NOT O with the trigger, but yet..... The first time I took trigger, I had super cramping for 3 days (from O'ing with 3 follies) and then I got the EWCM.  This last month, I had none of that, so I don't think I did etiher, but then with the shot, surely there is no way NOT to O, right?????????????? So frustrating.

I have taken Provera before and it has worked. They want to put me on that and then Femara for a second time. The only thing that is bothering me is I don't think that I am responding to the Trigger shot at all. Other wise there would have been some sort of ovulation I would think. But I will keep in mind the Repronex maybe it wold help.

I would say something to your doctor; my doc was going to put me on Provera when I didn't start my cycle. I tried the pill and that didn't work so she said Provera and I told her that my body doesn't respond and she had me skip and and go on Repronex and it worked for me. Well we are in the two week wait right now; hope this helps a little. Good Luck to you!
