HCG Shot

I have been trying to get pregnant for almost three months now. I want to know how long it takes the Hcg shot to leave ur system. It was a 10000 dosage. I took the shot on Dec 2nd and I got a positive five days later. I took the test on the sixth day and got another positive. I got a negative using a cheap test on the 9th day, but now I got a positive again. I am using first response and today is my thirteenth day after my shot. I took two test today and got two positives. Could I be pregnant? I pray to god I am. I go to the doctor Friday. Please give me your advice. I know they say the trigger lasts up to 14 days, but if I get a positive on day13, should I be happy

With that dosage it could take 10-14 days depending on how your body metabolizes.  For me it took about 11 days.  Did you notice if the positve lines are getting darker?  If they are then I would say you have a true positive!  If not, I would wait and test again.

Thanks for the comment. I will test again tomorrow morning, which will be 14 days. I just really hope it ias a positive. it is really started to wear me down. The strange thing is, when I tried the first time and got the shot, i got negatives every single time and I took the test about 4 days after my iui. The tets are getting darker, so hopefully i will get some good news when i got to the doctor Friday. Is it possible for the shot to be in your system out of 14 days.

it is absolutely positive for the shot to be out of your body after 14 days .. my last hcg shot I tested from 5 days after and got positive and also 6 and very faint on 7 days past shot .. then was negative for 2 days and started getting faint positives after that that just got stronger every day .. so the shot was out of my body after 7 days .. but everyone is different!

I got a BFP from that round so hoping that's what's in store for you too!!

My Dr told me 10-12 days but a few linger over until 14 days. I would get a blood test done and fine out what your level is. I asked this question a couple of months ago when I took it and got my BFP but found that some people said that it stayed in their system over 14 days once in a while. I think you are probably safe, best of luck to you.

I think you are pregnant and it's a true positive. I always test 6 days after my shot and I get negatives, so I know the doctor says it takes 14 days, but I think for some people it a lot sooner. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks everyone. I just took my third test today and got another positive. I said I was gonna wait until the morning, but I am just too excited.

yayyy congrats to you!!! I can't wait for my turn...this is my first cycle of IVF. I started Gonal F last night so hopefully I'll have my ET soon! How many embryos did you transfer? We're debating that still, we'll probably do 2...I don't know yet?
