HCG Shot...6dpo

Hi Friends (cause your all so sweet and understanding).  Okay, I probably shouldn't have did it, but I couldn't help it....I took a hpt 5 days after my HCG shot, and it showed positive.  I was really excited but mostly because I have never seen a postive before and I have tested so many times in the past.  My question is, could this be a false positive since I tested so close to my trigger shot?  I'm really not suppose to test till Feb. 8th.

to be totally honest I would say since it's this close it could be the shot but I'd wait a few days and if it gets darker then you know it's not from the shot.

it takes about 10 days for the HCG to be out of you system after the shot so i would say that it is a false positive. sorry but wait a for about 11dp shot and then test if you get a positive then its probably true:) good luck i hope you get that BFP

Yeah..it might be the trigger shot even though when I tested 5 days after HCG it was negative...
You really never know thats why they tell us not to test..
But we all do!!!!!!

yeah, you better wait for 10 days after the shot. so there would be no confusing.

Sorry but it would be a trigger shot...implantation would not have even occured yet.
