HCG over 450 at 14dpo

I just got the results from my 14dpo beta test.  My HCG level was 454.  When the nurse called to give me the numbers she sounded weird on the phone so I decided to look up my levels to see if they were where they should be.  I had a miscarriage in January at 5w6d after having 2 healthy pregnancies.  Because I had the miscarriage I asked to have the test so it would give me piece of mind.  Now I don't know what to think. Does this seem high to anyone?

I don't have a lot of experience with HCG levels but from what I've read on this board - that is high. Seems like you could have multiples in there. I think single baby HCG is around 100.  Did you have IVF? if so, how many embryos were transferred?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Yay your pregnant!! My first HCG was either day 12 or 13 and it was 444, two days later it was 1116!!! Im pregnant with twins so be prepaired for two little beans in there if that is a possibility :-) It is not "too high" and the first numbers really don't mean anything until you have your second HCG test to be sure the number doubles. Keep us posted!!!

What is the highest first Beta you guys have ever seen?

I had a failed fresh IVF cycle in Feb then a FET in March that worked like a charm :-)

My first transfer was a FET, and I got pregant, I misscarried, but that was due to Asherman's disease, not the eggs. : )  Good Luck!  ~~~BELIEVE!!!~~~It does work!!!! : )

I had my second beta this morning which they are sending out STAT so I will have the results this afternoon.  This is a natural pregnancy so I would be shocked if it were twins.

That sounds like a good number to me. Check out this web-site which gives beta numbers for healthy pregnancies - lowest, highest and medians. Its pretty good:

Well, they never called with the results.  I wish they would not even say I could have them the same day urrrgh!  Let you know when I get them hopefully tomorrow.  Thanks for all the words of encouragement.

Ugh I cant believe they didnt call you with results yesterday!!! If you still are waiting I would call!! You pay them, they are not doing you a favor by letting your know your results they are doing their job! Cant wait to see the numbers!!!

Numbers are in---887.  They said they are doubling as they should and said I could come in for an u/s next week.  I scheduled for Monday-though it seems a little early to see anything.  Will keep you posted.

sounds normal. You probably just had early implantation.

I had the u/s today and there is 1 sac with a yoke sac.  Everything looks really good.  They dated me at 4w6d so I guess I just have naturally high hcg levels.

I got my first beta today, and it's 399 @13dp5dt, which is 18 days total after my egg retrieval/fertilization. I did go to that beta website, but I'm not sure which day to consider today since it was IVF??? Should I count ER as ovulation? Thanks!
