HCG shot and IUI... URGENT

My RE will be doing IUI 41 hours after the HCG shot. Is this okay or should the gap be not more than 36 hours?

I've also heard that you normally ovulate 36 hours after the shot, but on a couple of sites, I've read that it's actually closer to 40 hours...and if so, it sounds like your IUI will be done right around the time the egg's released. And even if you do ovulate a couple of hours before then, the egg is still viable for 12-24 hours once released, so you should still OK! Good luck!

I am not sure on that -- I did the HCG shot at 8pm on Sunday 6/15/08 and had the IUI at 11:00 am on Tuesday 6/17/08.
