HCG shot

Yesterday I had my CD12 scan and was told that I had a mature follicle measuring 28mm.   The nurse called me and told me to go ahead and do the HCG shot.   I mixed it up like it said using 10ml of the water solution and drew out 2 ml of solution.   Nervous as heck I let my husband give me the shot (not as bad as I had expected.)

I'm pretty sure that the shot will interfere with the OPK's or will they?    Did anyone after the shot have any symptoms?   This is the first time I have had the shot so I'm not sure what to expect.

Thank you.  I haven't had any symptoms either except for a bit sore where I got the shot.

I've had the hcg injection twice. I definitely didn't have any symptoms the first time. The second time I was on three other meds so I'm not sure if I had hcg-specific side effects or not!

Hi There.

I have had the shot 3 times and have not had any symptoms with the shot. Just a little irritation at the site of injection for a day or so.

Best of luck to you.
