HIGH Pulsatility Index

HIGH Pulsatility Index

I've just received some results from a endovaginal doppler that are worrisome.
In fact, the results state that I have bilateral notches in my uterine arteries and that the PI (pulsatility index) is elevated.  And by elevated I mean around 3,3 for one and 3,7 for the other (resistance index in both cases of 0,9) perhaps you could enlighten me?  I made the mistake of going online after the radiologist said 'that could be the reason for miscarriages' and read that over 3 PI makes pregnancy loss unavoidable.  I had one miscarriage in September 2008 followed by ectopic in May followed by yet another miscarriage last month.  I am seeing a fertility expert in March after further testing, but am unable to contact her for reassurance or explanation.  If you have any information about this or about possible treatment, could you let me know?
I'd really appreciate it.
