HOT FLASHES HELP ;)

WOW, today is my CD9 & will be the last night of my ccct of 100mg @ night.  I have not had ANY big side effects.  BUT today I have had several HOT FLAHES!!!!  I had a couple a day or two ago, but not bad.  Today I'd say ithas been at least 5 times that I've noticed, they don't stay long, maybe 1-3 minutes at most.

SO my question to you ladies of great knowledge;) is WHAT & WHY do we get HOT FLASHES w/clomid?  Is this a "good" thing?  I'm GUESSING it has something to do that O is getting closer, just cuz of my CD.

Does anyone know??????????  Funny thing is that I've been actually a bit more mellow I THINK! Not crabby & crazy at all (not yet anyway!) & have slept great while on it & actually could use a nap right now! LOL

i am not sure what it is but i can tell u that I have had serious HOT FLASHES.  I am also on cd 9.  I have u/s on friday.  this will be my 3rd iui.  let me know what to do about the hot flashes when u find out cause they are driving me crazy.

clomid tricks your body into menopause. and the you start "dumping" eggs to sort of deny it/fend it off and conceive. that is why you can get flashes, moody and that little spare tire in the middle. hang in there.

OK NEW QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So tonight was my last clomid of 100 mg (BTW I crushed it up & mixed it w/yogurt...Mmmmmmm yummy!!!  YUCK, I am crazy lol!)
Anyway, so I noticed today & tonight that I can "feel" my lil right ovary.  Now I was a bit worried cuz we haven't BD yet since my last day of my AF was Sunday, & yesterday I did the HSG.  It's not bad at all, I just can "feel her" & I have no real cm, very very little & my OPK was not +
I do go in tomorrow for an US & they're gonna  check out my uterus, hope it's as smooth as my HSG was!
So there is pretty much NO WAY I can be O like tomorrow right?  NORMALLY I O CD10-CD12 & tomorrow IS CD10.
What do you think?  Is my ovary just getting bigger cuz of maybe 1 or 2 follies growing?  It never hurt when I was on Gonal-F til the day I O...then it was PAINFUL for hours!!!!
