HSG revealed blocked tube, any advice or insight?

Hello everyone! I'm brand new to this site, it looks like a great resource for information and support!
My DH and I have been TTC #1 for 3+ years. Yesterday I went in for an HSG that revealed that my left tube was blocked (most likely due to scar tissue resulting from an appendix surgery years ago), but my right tube is open. Though it was difficult to hear that both tubes weren't functioning, I'm really grateful to still have hope with the one.
My doctor said that it is likely to get pregnant with one tube after having an HSG, and he wants me to schedule an appt. in 3 months. I'm just wondering what experiences other women have had with this. Are there many success stories out there? Thanks!
