I have been TTC for 3 years now and my husbands semen analysis is ok and I have been ovulating fine though I have a slight PCO. Everything was very promising last month like the responses to medicines and all the test I had including the folicle monitoring but in turn, I still had a negative result. I had my first hysterogram last month. I was told that there is a posibility that my tubes were blocked
solution was given to me, the majority of the dosage stayed on the cervix area and did not pushed thru, only a bit of it passes thru my left tube then stopped.. (they said that it was posibly blocked
).. they injected more solutions hoping that they will see it flow inside but instead, all the solutions came out of my vagina including the little amount that got stuck in my left tube.. the tried it one last time but the worst thing is that even the balloon that was created inside was also pushed out of my organ and none of the solution was permitted by my body to flow inside (everything came out from my vagina)..
or air inside the body that it is not allowing anything to pass-thru? Is it also caused by infection or possibly a very strong immune system? I'm afraid to have a second round of hysterogram because it may happen again..
blockage is PID. There are other causes, too. Prior ectopic pregnancies, scar tissue, infections, etc.
There are also different ways to remove blockages, if it is possible. Some blockages are too severe and cannot be removed. At that point, IVF is the only way to become pregnant.
I would try another HSG to see if it clears it or at least sheds some light on how bad it is. It is the least invasive and least costly way.
Hello Jen, My name is Lisa, and this is very hard for me to deal with as well. I had a HSG done on June 9, 2008, and. I was advised that both of my tubes are blocked. The Doctor is now suggesting a Laparoscopy or IVF. I'm scheduled for routine blood work tomorrow, June 30, 2008. I was also told that sometimes after a HSG you could become pregant.
