Has any one tryed Vitex??

So i read today in one of my books that Vitex helped you to get Pregnant.. Has anyone tryed or heared about it or even have someone eles to take??

I am thinking of taking it next cycle... read this:

*** Recipe #1 **

Take Whole Cycle:
1 Prenatal Vitamin Daily
1 Baby Aspirin Daily
1 50 mg B6 Vitamin in the morning.
1 B-50 Complex in the evening




From Cycle Day 1 until Ovulation:
Two Vitex, 500mg Capsules in the morning
Two Vitex, 500mg Capsules in the evening




From End of Period until Ovulation:

Robitussin::full strength as if you have a bad cough. Label Directions: adults and children 12 years and over, 2-4 teaspoonsfuls every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 doses in any 24 hour period. Consult label for accuracy, warnings, and ingredients. Active ingredient: Guaifenesin ONLY, do NOT get any type with other active ingredients or letters such as Robitussin DM or Robitussin CF.

Have you been taking this?  Also, have you taken this before and noticed anything different and if you are taking it have you had any side effects?

I am not fully going by that routine.

I am taking the B6 and vitex.

Let me know if it helps any.  I was taking 200 mg of PABA daily but quit after three months and will prob start back up on it if AF comes.

Have thought about buying the fertility blend product but I have never seen any posts from anyone who has taken the product to know if it is worth the money.

I read on here that Vitex can help achieve pregnancy in women with low progesterone.  But I think i should only use it for the first two weeks of my cycle because it can cause birth defects (possibly?) So my question is:  if i only take it for two weeks then is that enough to really even help anything...

Anybody additional comments on Vitex?
