Has anyone experienced a low bhch and gone on to have a good pregnancy?

Hi Everyone.  I went Friday and my bhcg came out positive. OMG!!!!!  I am so excited but also very nervous.  It came back at 28.  But I'm wondering if I implated late or something.  The reason I am saying this is because my hpt; all 4 of them that I took starting on monday and took through thursday were  negative.  So friday I went to the RE thinking my bhcg would be negative also.  What a shock I got!!!!!!!!  The nurse called and said it was positive but that we need to make sure that on monday it doubles by then.  I think that is what she said?  So can anyone tell me if they have had this low of a beta before and everything came back higher and higher after that.  Just want a little heads up to see what the future may hold?? Thanks for any input.

Yesterday I went and my origingal number was 24.8 and now I'm at 51.8.  It doubled so that is good news.  Tomarrow I have another one.  I'll let you know how it goes.  How are you guys doing in your journey?  I'm praying for us all.

It's not really that important what your hcg starts at just that it doubles every 48-72 hours for the first couple of weeks.  Good luck and let us know how things go.

I'm not up on all the IVF stuff, but if you did implant late, the hcg may be fine.  Like your nurse said, hcg is supposed to double every 2-3 days at this stage.  If you hcg is 56 or greater (most likely greater) on Monday, then you should be okay.  Try not to stress.  Best wishes.

Well I took my trigger shot on 10/1.  I know My eggs fertilized on 10/4.  So  on 10/17 that had been 13 days.  So do you count your trigger shot or when they actually transfer.  That was 10/6.  So they had only been in me for 11 days when I got my beta and I think it takes a few days to implant so I'm really confused.

Well how many days past ovulation are you? I was 17 dpo and my beta was only 88. which is really low for 17dpo, and I am now 11weeks and thing are great! :) So Good Luck! keep us posted!
