FSH = 6.8, the hormone from your pituitary gland to stimulate your ovaries was normal.
AMH = anti-mullerian hormone = 0.65, which is pretty low. This test measures your "ovarian reserve," which is a term we use to describe the number and health of egg cells in your ovaries, and normally falls with age. Your result is low, even for a 37 year old.
When we first started ttc, my fsh was around 12.4. I had sugery for endometriosis, polyp, ovarian cyst, thick lining. Long story short, after surgery, Fsh went down to 5.5 and amh was .7.(which was low for my age as well) I am 36. We did meds-follistim, femara, estrace, progesterone. (it worked very first cycle) I am now 33w1d and I will be 37 saturday. So it absolutely can be done. I had a great RE who was very aggressive. Good luck to you.
Thank you so much for commenting. I've been reading a lot on AMH since I got the news. My RE put me on clomid and progesterone. Does anyone have any success with clomid?
