Has anyone tried acupuncture to increase fertility

Hi girls - I wondered if anyone can give me advise or an insight into acupuncture to increase fertility chances?? I have been talking to a friend who had a few sessions and believes she managed to conceive within 3 months because of the teatment..... wonderful!! Does anyone know if it works?? Also does anyone know if you can have the treatment if you are already taking clomid??

I use acupuncture. It's a wonderful stress reliever (which has to help ;) ) and there is a great deal of research supporting its benefits in trying to conceive.  There is very specific research in its effect on IVF.

The clomid shouldn't have any impact, but you'll want to tell the acupuncturist what meds you are taking. Also be sure to tell your doc about the acupuncture!

Yes, I definately believe in accupanture, even though it is dead expensive....We did special program right before and after IUI (wonderful stress relief...and oh, you GOT TO BELIEVE in its miracle, otherwise it will not work ), and then I did once a week in TWW and then I got PREGNANT! ANd i did once a week up until 9 weeks!!! Totally helped me!!

You need to come for consultation to a special facility that does accupanture for fertility specifically, and yes, you can have treatmens while on clomid :) like i said, I did mine after I took all the drugs...
