Help, what should I do? I keep getting cysts...IUI/clomid to come...

Well, I am now on Yaz BCP to take care of my Cysts in my overies for about 14 days. I would like to go on Clomid/IUI and overdril 2nd try..I am a little scared that I will keep getting the cysts though...It seems to be taking a while for me each time and it is frustrating for me. I know I need to be patient...and calm.

Has anyone gone through this? any suggestions? Thanks

I have herd of many women getting cysts from Clomid. I took it and it never happened to me, but there are many women on here that I have read about getting cysts from the clomid. I beleive that the alternative drug is Femera (I think) and I beleive that it is less likely to cause cysts.

I agree with cheescake, clomid has been known to cause cysts in women more than femara... it also thins the lining of the uterus and femara doesn't , however it can produce more follies than femara.. i would defintely ask your doctor! i got one cyst on femara.. well two others, but the resolved on their own, and the reason i got those was due to endo and pcos not letting my follies rupture, so then they just grew bigger into cysts!  also, you might want to try switching triggers - to novarel which they say is the strongest trigger (10,000units of hcg) it will help those follies rupture and might prevent cysts!  unforntunately cysts are common when going thru fertiltiy treatments its totally normal!   GOOD LUCK! i hope it goes away fast! : )

I had several cyst ruptures on clomid.  Do you have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)?  If you  have not been diagnosed, I would look into it.  Basically they just need to monitor you more carefully with it.  My first doc that gave me the clomid wasn't monitoring me at all, which is why I kept getting the ruptures.  I've been on injectables now and doing just fine with good monitoring.

Good luck!
