Help Me TTC

I had a sudden miscarriage at around 7 wks, when i found out i was pregnant; unfortunately this would be my husband and i first child i have another child before we got married. After losing the baby, he first moved to paris and i would join him after graduation in June. I basically moved since may 16th and has been trying since then faithfully but no choice. The mc was in january 08 and sometime when im about to ovulate he would come for a week and half and we would try. efore i use to ovulate well, bt since i moved here its been a little weird i don't completely ovulate or its very late into the month. I have very irregular periods since the m/c and the doctors said unless  i have a 21 day period there is nothing wrong technically. So after this long story is there something i can do to either help my body ovulate or does anyone knows much about clomid and how it is prescribed, thank you and good luck to all.

Hi Raray,  I'm so sorry for your loss.  I'm sure you will find lots of support on this forum from people who have been through the same thing.

To be honest, your miscarriage is quite recent so I think your body is still adjusting after it.  It may only be a matter of time so I don't think a doctor would prescribe any fertility drugs to you now.  I know that you are probably desperate to conceive as soon as possible but I would let nature take its course while your body heals and when your body is ready you will conceive naturally.

I too was having issues ovulating after my m/c in December 07.  My OBGYN put me on Prometrium, it's a progesterone supplement.  I took it for 12 days, then with about 4 days into it I started my period, successfully ovulated when I should have and I am now almost 6 weeks pregnant.  It work in one try.  If your body doesn't produce enough progesterone then you won't ovulate.  I was having my period every other week because of it.  Also, if you lack progesterone during your pregnancy than it usually terminates.  I don't know anything about clomid, but I know what I used worked.  Good luck!
