Help w/hcg question

Last Monday I had my HcG level checked and it was 2320, which the doctor's office said was good.  I had it re-checked on Saturday b/c my progesterone level was low on Monday (7.5).  I just got my results.  My progesterone has went up to 31.3 (thanks to suppositories), but my HcG count only went up to 2801.  Can anyone offer any words of encouragement/support?

Your Hcg level should double every 2 days.  Are they going to recheck it again??  What does your doctor say?? Good luck to you!! :)

Yeah, I've read that they are supposed to double, but I was kinda hoping for some reassurance.  I've been doing a lot of researching on-line (can't seem work right now - frown) and it says not to put too much stock into HcG levels ... that they can vary widely and that some pregnancies don't double and the mommies still have normal pregnancies and the baby is born healthy, etc.  My usual problem is progesterone.  When I confirmed this pregnancy, my Dr did blood work and my progesterone level was only 7.5 and my HcG was 2320.  He put me on progesterone suppositories and one week later my progesterone shot up to 31.3 but my HcG only went up to 2801.  I'm really praying for a good result here.  My doc has scheduled an ultrasound for me on Wednesday...I guess I'll just do a lot of praying between now and then.  Thanks for responding (smile)
