Here's hoping!

I am new to this forum site. I have been dying to have another kid for the past six years with no real support from my husband until a couple of months ago after I had a miscarriage in March. Since then we have been trying. I am like clock work when it comes to my aunt flow but she is no where is sight this time! I am 3 days late for her and no sign of her coming. I have taken a hpt every morning with no positive results. Any ideas what is going on?

If I were in your shoes, I would test again, if you haven't already, sometime this weekend or monday, then depending on the result, I would get in contact with my doctors office to follow up with a blood test. The blood test would confirm it either way, they are more sensitive than hpts.

Clear blue easy. I also took a normal opk to make sure it was correct. My normal second half of my cycle is on the shorter side between 10-12 days. I am just hoping and praying that this is my month.

What type of monitor are you using and how long does the second half of your cycle normally last? If you ovulated on the 15th, and the second part of your cycle runs 14 days, then you wouldn't be late until after the 29th. The second part of your cycle is normally pretty consistent.

You could have implanted a little later than normal so it is possible that you are pregnant and not enough of the hormones have built up yet.

I would still give it a few more days, and then test again, or call your doctors office and see what they suggest.

I know it is hard when you want something so badly, I've been over a week late before, never got a +hpt. I did have every sign and symptom of possibly being pregnant. In hind sight I should have gone to the doctors to be sure.

I forgot to mention that I am using a fertility monitor so I know exactly when I ovulated. I got a positive on the 15th is it still to early to be testing? Plus I have been tracking my periods for years now and they have never been late ever!

sometimes you just ovulate a little later than normal so it can make things happen a little later than normal. I'd give it a few more days and if you don't get a positive on an hpt, call the doctors and have a blood test done.

all of us would like it to happen naturally, but sometimes things are going on with our bodies that make it much hard to do so, or even issues with your partner, that could make it harder to achieve a natural pregnancy.

Thanks! I will try to check into that but I would rather have it happen naturally. Do you what is considered normal in bringing late?
