Hey ladies! Well I don't remember who said that pre-seed was not recomended by their doctor...But just wanted to share that at my appt. today they said the same thing...They add chemicals in it to prevent infection and it does indeed lower sperm count at least thats what my doc. said!

its was mslkpage. she said her dr recommended using a little mineral oil i believe. good to know!

I don't want to waste another forum but I was wondering if any of you have had a Hysterosalpingography (HSG) done? Was it painful? I am having this done next month.

I have had it done.  Like Annie said, it is uncomfortable and you will probably cramp.  It is certainly tolerable.  I took a bunch of Tylenol and it helped.

I had 2 done, it's uncomfortable and you will have cramping during and after!Good luck!

I have had it done and it was *nothing*. It was no worse than a pap smear. I was told how aweful it would be but I had zero pain with it.  I know everyone is different AND I have been told that if you do have some sort of problem that it is very uncomfortable.
